There are 16 little holes in the Seam Guide Ruler which are made to insert a sewing machine needle. Use these holes to measure your seam allowances accurately from ⅛” to 2” (⅛”, ¼”, ⅜”, ½”, ⅝”, ¾”, ⅞”, 1”, 1 ⅛”, 1 ¼”, 1 ⅜”, 1 ½”, 1 ⅝”, 1 ¾”, 1 ⅞”, 2”) and set your stitch. The fluorescent green colour of the Seam Guide Rules makes it highly visible against all fabrics.
You get an extra Magnetic Seam Guide to make sure you keep that exact distance while sewing. You can just attach this little metal seam guide temporarily on any needle plate. It will not shift when you are sewing.
